DENVILLE - "The HUB of Morris County" Our twelve square miles of homes, highways, schools, houses of worship and municipal facilities are a testimony to the wisdom of those who guided it through the decades and a credit to those who administer today.
Denville is possessed of an uncommon friendliness among its populace. It is distinctive for its spirit of volunteer contribution. With its beautiful parks, bustling downtown, great schools, lakes and community activities - "Denville is a great place to raise a family."
Denville has many areas for all sorts of recreational activities. Recently the residents of Denville, in conjunction with Saturn of Denville, constructed a state of the art playground facility.
The Denville Historical Society and Museum was founded over twenty-five years ago. It is housed in a former bank building which was moved from Downtown to the site adjacent to the Library on Diamond Spring Road.
With a population below 2500 in 1943, the Township established in 1913 burgeoned in the post Second World War years to become one of Northern New Jersey's most thriving of communities. Check out a video of Denville from 1954 - click here.
